Sleep Source strives to provide the best possible patient care.  Compliance plays a big part in patient care.  Compliance means the patient is using their equipment and using it properly.  Upon diagnosis and following titration, the patient is scheduled for their equipment pick-up when Sleep Source is chosen.  A staff respiratory therapist will spend approximately an hour to an hour and a half with the patient.  The sleep study will be explained to them, and the recommended prescribed therapy.  The therapist will provide a mask fitting and then explain the equipment.  The patient will be put on the prescribed pressure to become comfortable.  Cleaning of the machine is explained and any questions are answered.  Supplies need to be replaced at continual intervals.  We also recommend that maintenance be performed on the machines to make certain the pressures are consistent with the prescribed therapy.  At that time we will schedule an appointment for the required maintenance to ensure they are receiving maximum benefit from their therapy.

A diligent patient compliance program proves beneficial to patient care.  Patients use the equipment more often and more effectively when follow-up is provided.  Sleep Source is there for any questions/concerns at any time.
